Meet Our Team

Phil LaCasse
President & CEO

Phil has led the management team for SALMON Health and Retirement, formerly The Salmon family of Services, and Continuing Care Management since 1997. He works closely with leadership in all facilities in the development and implementation of financial and strategic plans, as well as oversight of day-to-day operations. Phil has held senior management positions in the field of long-term care and elder housing since 1975. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Phil has served for many years on the Board of Directors of The Mass Extended Care Federation, and as President for three years. He is also a founding member of the AURUM Post-Acute Network.

Jeffrey S. Robinson
Managing Partner

As Managing Partner, Jeff is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facilities. He works closely with the leadership at all facilities and concentrates on revenue enhancement, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality control. Jeff has held senior management positions in the field of elder housing since 1990. He has managed both single and multiple facilities ranging from 60 to 170 units. He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts with a concentration in Marketing. Jeff is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Center for Assisted Living, a part of the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation as well as a member of the National Assisted Living Associations Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire Chapters. He is also a member of Mass Aging and the Alzheimers Association of Eastern Massachusetts.

Kate Salmon-Robinson, MHSA
Director of Marketing

In 1993, Kate assumed the position of Administrator of Beaumont at Westborough and assisted in the design and construction of Whitney Place at Westborough and Natick. Since 1995, as Vice President of Marketing, Kate has been part of the Continuing Care Management Executive Staff, managing the development and implementation of our marketing, sales, and community outreach efforts. Kate has served on The Board of Directors for The Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association, and The Board of Directors of The Alzheimers Association of Eastern Massachusetts, and is very active in several community and industry organizations.

Gary Sacon, CPA
CFO

Gary has been the Chief Financial Officer for SALMON Health and Retirement, formerly The Salmon Family of Services, and Continuing Care Management since 1997. After receiving his Bachelors degree from Stonehill College, Gary worked as an auditor and consultant focusing on the healthcare industry for several public accounting firms. Gary received his MBA from Boston University and is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and The Healthcare Financial Management Association.
